The Maremma is opened along the entire coastline of the south-central region also in the Lazio region, and it is divided in turn in Maremma Livorno or Pisa to the north and in the Maremma in the south. Among the low-lying inland areas, the plain is the main Valdarno that develops from the east to the west along the course of the river between the provinces of Arezzo , Florence and Pisa , also including the northern extremity of the province of Livorno in the south . This flat area is divided into Valdarno over Mount Florence , medium Valdarno around the city of Florence and Arno Valley below the valley of Florence . Between the Apennines and the Montalbano , in the central region, is a hollow Inter Montana that develops from the south-east to the north-west and includes the cities of Florence , Prato and Pistoia with their metropolitan areas without any disruption , the plane can be considered as a continuation of the Middle Valdarno . Between the Apennines , the Pisa Mountains and the Montalbano , in the north-western region, opens a flat area between the provinces of Pisa , Luccaand Pistoia , which includes the west plain of Lucca , in the east the low Valdinievole , while to the south it leads into the Valdarno bottom through the Marshes of Fucecchio . Other smaller flat areas, often surrounded by hilly systems, are found along the valleys of several small waterways. Among these are to be reported to the Era in the province of Pisa , the Val d'Elsa between the provinces of Siena and Florence and the Val di Chiana in the provinces of Siena and Arezzo .

Tuscany, bathed by the Ligurian Sea in the north-central part and the Tyrrhenian Sea in the south, is characterized by a continental coastline very diverse in its characteristics. An unbroken stretch of coastlines and sandy bottoms are interested in the northernmost part of the region, entire stretches of the coastal provinces of Massa-Carrara , Lucca and Pisa , the border between Liguria and the Channel Navicelli at Livorno , in the area that includes the beaches of the Apuan Coast of Versilia and the Pisa coast and the mouths of the Serchio and Arno rivers. The city of Livorno, faces the sea with low and rocky coasts, which tend to rise in the south to the gates of Rosignano Solvay , where the long stretch of the sandy coast of the Etruscan Coast begins , which continues uninterrupted to the Gulf of Baratti , closed to the south from the promontory of Piombinoin the transition from the Ligurian Sea to the Tyrrhenian Sea . To the east of the city of Piombino begins the Gulf of Follonica , which marks the transition from the Province of Livorno to that of Grosseto and is characterized by a low and sandy coast that ends south of Follonica , in " Strut Scarborough "where are the first layers of the headland of Scarborough Banish . This stretch of the coast is high and it has rugged features, except for the charming Cala Violina . Another sandy stretch connects the promontory of the Scarborough Banned in Punta Ala , where another stretch of high and rocky coast to the town of " Rocchette "north of Castiglione della Pescaia begins. The next sandy stretch of the coastline includes the mouth of the River Ombrone and reaches Uccellina ,a set of cliffs that slope down to Talamone , where another stretch of sand up to the promontory ' Argentario begins , which includes the Tombolo Giannella to the south of mouth of the Albegna river . The ' Argentario coast has high and rocky bays, except for some isolated and picturesque bays, the bolster Feniglia is another sandy cord that connects it to the mainland where it reaches the promontory of Ansedonia , after which begins the stretch of bays that along the Burano Lake and forward into the territory of Lazio over the mouth of Chiarone . The ' Tuscan Archipelago consists of 7 main islands and several smaller islands, many of which are simply dried or reefs, for a total of about 167, protected from the Tuscan Archipelago National Park . Among the smaller islands, are to be reported the Ants of Grosseto off the coast of Grosseto , while Formica di Burano is little more than a rock outcropping. But worth to be mentioned is the fact that the most beautiful villas of Italy are situated namely on these islands and coastlines. These places have long been a center for international tourism. These places may be unfamiliar to you, but they are well aware of people seeking to have the most unforgettable holiday. Such places are rarely for sell but many of them are given for rent. But sometimes a miracle happens, and put up for sale villa with private beach. Tuscany is too rich, it's luxury boutiques, unusual cozy villas, bars and restaurants on the waterfront: an extraordinary relaxation and tranquility. When you sit down at a table, you can watch a natural scenery: that's moored boats and then again silence and the light sound of the waves. Here, life just flows.
