Within the traditional landscape 
of Chianti, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and small woods, Casale San Casciano lies on the edge of a picturesque small lake. The villa was completely renovated recently, but has a strong historical background, as it dates from the beginning of the 19th century, being one of the properties that Count Bandini possessed, neighbouring the village of Sant'Andrea in Percussiva where Niccolò Machiavelli lived.
On the ground level there is a spacious kitchen that is designed to serve as a dining room as well; a bathroom; a lounge supplied with a matrimonial sofa bed and hi-fi stereo system; 
a TV room with another matrimonial sofa bed that has Sat TV and DVD player. Up the stairs to the first floor, there are provided two bathrooms and four double bedrooms. Every room benefits from air conditioning. Also upstairs you can find the piccionaia, with a large bathroom equipped with a Jacuzzi. The villa can accommodate up to eight people, but there can be added four more people, as the lounge –supplied with a comfortable matrimonial sofa bed –can be considered as another room, as well as the TV room.
