   The powerful and noble family of Medici has left a great patrimony to the incoming generations. Villa Ludovico is among them. Its history traces back to the 15^th century, when the Medici family has gained in Florence an important role in the Signoria. By that time, this residence was the preferred country house of the family, where the lineage used to spend relaxing moments surrounded by the Vicchio hills. The area is until now a beloved destination, but still to be discovered and explored. The estate is set in an open valley, about 4 kilometres away from the hamlet of Vicchio, where one can find different shops, supermarkets, great restaurants with local dishes and other facilities. Larger localities can be found in a little distance as well, among which Borgo San Lorenzo in less than 10 kilometres and Barberino di Mugello in about 20 kilometres.

   The structure is built on three levels and extends on more than 1000 square metres. The spacious and stylish room are comfortable and warm, reminding guests of past noble charm. Each one of the nine suits is exquisitely furnished with period details, while equipped with modern comforts. From the latter you can reach the tower at the top of the villa with a stunning view over the hills.

  In the luxuriant garden surrounding the property, dotted with ancient trees, with a unique cedar tree among them, is dipped the swimming pool, paved and provided with outdoor furnishings. Also here, an antique chapel dedicated to San Girolamo, dating back to the 18^th century can be admired. The nearby dependence provides two new suites, each with queen size bed and en-suite bathroom with whirlpool tub and shower.
