   Enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience in this noble ancient residence which is set in a serene setting, while close to Florence. Villa Il Divo is an aristocratic property dating back from the 16^th century, once the patrimony of a noble family. Featuring vaulted ceilings downstairs and chestnut cuffered ones on the upper floor, stables, a pigeon loft and a charming loggia on the second floor, this villa is a splendid and elegant accommodation throughout, reminding of victorious past times. It is not only an ideal holiday home, but a great touristic base as well to discover the beautiful Tuscany. The proximity to Florence, as well as its rich design embellished with period furnishings from the 18^th and 19^th century makes it an attractive point for art lovers willing to spend their vacation in a historical environment, with original frescoes decorating the walls.

   A luxuriant and large garden embraces the estate, dotted with secular trees and graced with lovely views of the family vineyard. On the rear side of the house, hidden away, there is a wide terrace and accurate lawn, where there is provided a barbeque area and a brick oven for outdoor meals. A few steps away, the swimming pool lies, shaded by oak and olive trees, enjoying scenic views on the valley bellow. Also on these grounds, an ancient chapel stands, which can be used for religious functions. Within a walking distance, there is a typical restaurant featuring the best local specialties. Although totally secluded, the villa is part of an active farm which produces Chianti wines, olive oil, grappa and honey, which can also be purchased. Upon request, wine tasting tours can be organized. Please note that there is a gravel road leading to the villa and low cars are not recommended.

Layout: Ground floor: large eat-in kitchen with fireplace. Formal dining room with vaulted ceilings opening onto the garden, living room; also with vaulted ceilings, bathroom with shower. 

Second floor (piano nobile): access by means of interior and exterior staircases into the large sitting room with fireplace. Living room with piano, library with fireplace, billiard room, three bedrooms with double beds, two bedrooms with two twin beds each, two bathrooms with bathtubs. In a little storage house in the garden, there is the boiler and the laundry. Please note that due to it’s size and disposition, this villa is not suitable for winter lets.
