   The Villa is rented to only one group at a time, so you are assured that your family or group of up to 24 people have the individual attention they deserve. From these vantage points, it is up to you to decide on how to take advantage of the beauty and accommodation that the villa has to offer: among these, a swimming pool in order to soak up the incredible climate, playing tennis on the private court, enjoying the slices of hilltop paradise or wandering through the more than 5,500 square feet in the nearly 700 year old villa. Furthermore, considering its central location, it is ideally positioned for you to explore the tourist destinations in the region: Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza, Siena, and Florence, among others, along with having the opportunity to stroll the cobblestone streets of the nearby medieval villages.

   It is worth mentioning that the history of the villa is as amazing as the villa itself. Being first mentioned in 1331 in historical documents, the Etruscan ruins found on the property reveal that its history has been long ago started to be written. Initially owned by Giovanni di Diagio da Torrita in the 14th century, it later became the property of Pope Pio II until 1873. In 1971 the Villa was completely restored and renovated in keeping the original character in order to be able to provide guests with the most memorable experience.
